Position Overview


Begin your journey as an Amazon Fulfillment Center Associate in a fast-paced distribution environment. Your responsibilities will include handling packages, accurately organizing items, and getting orders ready for delivery to customers.

You will perform various warehouse tasks, such as processing incoming shipments, preparing outgoing deliveries, and assisting with the loading and unloading of freight.

You will operate conveyor belts and move goods to the designated areas for pickup by drivers.

Requirements

- At least 18 years old
- Able to read and follow instructions in English
- Physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds
- Comfortable with smartphones or tablets and following on-screen instructions
- Able to stand and walk for most of your shift, and perform frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Willing to use warehouse equipment, such as carts and hand trucks
- May need to use stairs at some sites
- Flexible with varying temperatures and work around moving machinery

Role Responsibilities

- Receive and sort deliveries for outgoing shipments
- Manage inventory using handheld scanning devices
- Prepare pallets by securing and packaging items for shipment
- Move goods received from trucks into the correct storage locations

Shift Options

- Available positions on morning and overnight shifts
- Choose from full-time (40 hours), reduced-time (30-39 hours), part-time (20-29 hours), or flexible shifts with as little as four hours per week
- Select a consistent or variable schedule to meet your preferences
- Overtime may be offered based on business requirements

- Safety is a high priority - you will be provided with personal protective equipment and daily safety updates
