About HomeGoods

As part of the TJX family, HomeGoods is the premier destination for unique, high-quality home fashions and decor at incredible prices. Our stores feature massive furniture, delicate ceramics, and seasonal items that arrive daily. The Overnight Stocker is the careful, hidden force behind our fully merchandised, visually stunning sales floor. When you embark on a career in retail jobs with us, you are joining a logistics-focused team that safely handles incredible merchandise while the store is closed.

Job Summary

We are actively seeking physically strong, incredibly careful, and team-oriented individuals to join our night crew. As an Overnight Stocker, you will be responsible for unloading trailers and packing out fragile home decor and heavy furniture. You will serve as the logistical backbone, delivering the signature visual abundance that sets HomeGoods apart in the home retail industry. This is a highly physical role perfect for night owls, offering premium pay to reward your dedication.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

  • Furniture Placement: Work as a coordinated team of two to safely lift and maneuver heavy accent furniture, rugs, and shelving units onto the sales floor.
  • Visual Merchandising: Follow basic color-blocking and sizing guidelines to arrange decorative pillows, throws, and kitchenware attractively on the shelves.
  • Store Recovery: Break down massive amounts of styrofoam and cardboard, operating the industrial baler safely and leaving the aisles completely clear for morning shoppers.

Your heavy lifting and careful handling are supported by a comprehensive rewards package:

  • Salary: Competitive base pay PLUS an overnight shift differential (Estimated total: $17.50 to $20.50 per hour).

  • No prior logistics or retail experience required—we will train you on safe handling completely.
