Part-Time | Remote | 1099 Independent Contractor

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION

Must live in the United States.

SGS Alliance is currently hiring for a part-time remote B2B Appointment Setter / Lead Generation Specialist.

This position starts with approximately 10 hours per week on one client account. As additional client accounts become available, successful contractors may have the opportunity to increase their hours.

Depending on campaign availability and performance, hours may eventually range from 10 to approximately 35 hours per week. However, this position is NOT guaranteed to provide full-time hours and will NOT be a 40+ hour-per-week position.

If you need or are specifically looking for a guaranteed full-time position with 40+ hours per week, please do not apply.

SGS Alliance is a B2B lead generation and appointment-setting company specializing in commercial HVAC, Mechanical, Janitorial, and Facility Services.

We are looking for an experienced B2B Appointment Setter / Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor position focused on outbound commercial prospecting.

This is not a customer service or inbound calling position. You will be making outbound calls to businesses and speaking with facility managers, property managers, operations managers, business owners, and other commercial decision-makers.

What You'll Do

  • Make outbound B2B calls to commercial businesses
  • Identify and connect with the appropriate decision-makers
  • Introduce our clients' services in a professional and conversational manner
  • Qualify prospects based on campaign-specific criteria
  • Set qualified appointments for our clients
  • Follow up with prospects when appropriate
  • Accurately document calls, conversations, and outcomes in our CRM/dialer
  • Meet established calling and appointment goals
  • Provide feedback regarding prospects, lists, scripts, and campaign activity
  • Maintain a professional and positive approach on every call

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who already understands B2B outbound calling and is comfortable having conversations with business decision-makers.

Required:

  • 2+ years of B2B appointment-setting, cold-calling, or lead-generation experience
  • Experience making a high volume of outbound calls
  • Comfortable speaking with business owners and management-level decision-makers
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident telephone presence
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Able to follow campaign scripts while still sounding natural and conversational
  • Strong attention to detail when documenting calls and dispositions
  • Reliable computer, headset, and high-speed internet
  • Available to work during U.S. business hours
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week

Preferred:

Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus:

  • HVAC
  • Mechanical
  • Janitorial / Commercial Cleaning
  • Facility Services
  • Industrial Services
  • Construction
  • Property Management
  • Commercial Services

PhoneBurner or similar CRM/dialer experience is a plus.

What SGS Alliance Provides

We don't simply hand you a list and tell you to start dialing.

Our callers are supported with:

  • Quality prospect lists
  • Proven calling strategies
  • Campaign-specific scripts and training
  • Ongoing coaching and support
  • Responsive management
  • Established campaigns
  • Opportunities to take on additional accounts as they become available
  • Long-term client relationships

Our goal is to give our callers the tools, information, and support they need to be successful.

Compensation & Hours

  • $15.00 per hour to start
  • Performance-based pay increases
  • Weekly direct deposit
  • Flexible scheduling within campaign requirements
  • Starts at approximately 10 hours per week
  • Opportunity for additional hours as new accounts become available
  • Hours may eventually grow to approximately 35 hours per week
  • No guaranteed increase in hours
  • This is a part-time position only
  • This will not be a guaranteed 40-hour-per-week or full-time position

This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Important: Please Read Before Applying

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys outbound B2B sales, cold calling, and prospecting and is looking for part-time work.

Please do not apply if you need immediate full-time employment, guaranteed 40+ hours per week, or a position that will quickly become a full-time job.

We begin new contractors with approximately 10 hours per week on an assigned client account. Additional hours are based on campaign availability, client needs, and successful performance. While some contractors may eventually work close to full-time hours, SGS Alliance cannot guarantee 40 hours per week, and this position should not be considered a full-time employment opportunity.

If you are uncomfortable making cold calls, do not enjoy speaking with business decision-makers, or are primarily looking for a customer service or inbound calling position, this will not be the right fit.

We are looking for experienced callers who understand that successful appointment setting requires consistency, professionalism, persistence, and the ability to have a genuine business conversation.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and/or LinkedIn profile along with a brief description of your B2B calling or appointment-setting experience.

One verifiable supervisor or manager reference is required.

If you meet the qualifications and would like to schedule an interview, please email resume to: trumsey@sgspros.com

We look forward to hearing from experienced B2B callers who are specifically interested in a part-time opportunity with SGS Alliance.
