About the position

Our compensated 10-week Corporate RL Inspire Internship Program is designed to give rising senior undergraduate students a challenging, hands-on experience in the retail industry. To be eligible for a US-based Ralph Lauren Internship position, applicants must: Attend college full-time in the United States and be entering your final semester or year of undergraduate studies with a graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027 Authorized to work in the United States Able to work in an in-person or hybrid workplace environment arrangement Available the entire duration of the 10-week internship and reside within a commutable distance to one of our office locations (NY, NJ, NC). A housing stipend will be provided to help with travel and accommodations. Candidates should only apply to one role. If a student's experience aligns with multiple opportunities, the Early Careers team will ensure they're considered accordingly. The Belonging & Equity Intern will support Ralph Lauren's global volunteer and philanthropic engagement strategy through data analysis, administrative coordination, and process improvement. This role provides hands-on experience in program management, reporting, and operational efficiency-offering exposure to how a purpose-driven brand activates its values through structured community engagement and employee volunteerism.

Responsibilities

  • Program Analytics & Reporting
  • Conduct a gap analysis of volunteer hours to identify under-engaged regions, functions, and teams.
  • Support a partner gap analysis, mapping current nonprofit organizations against global focus areas to highlight opportunities for stronger alignment and diversification.
  • Pull, organize, and analyze volunteer participation data from the YourCause platform and other sources to support monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries.
  • Maintain and update tracking documents and dashboards to monitor campaign progress and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with measurement and reporting, including summarizing participation metrics and generating data-driven insights for leadership presentations.
  • Program Operations & Administration
  • Support and co-lead the annual Summer Intern volunteer event, handling day-of logistics, communication, and on-site coordination.
  • Manage the Ralph Lauren Gives Back inbox, routing inquiries, tracking responses, and ensuring timely follow-up with internal and external partners.
  • Maintain organized project trackers, campaign timelines, and documentation for ongoing volunteer and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Support logistics and scheduling for global volunteer captain meetings, foundation calls, and regional planning sessions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation and reusable templates to standardize team operations.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination support across active projects, including meeting recaps, follow-ups, and deliverable tracking.
  • Communications Support
  • Support refinement of communication templates for campaign announcements, volunteer recaps, and regional updates.
  • Organize and maintain digital toolkit content, ensuring all materials are up to date, consistent, and aligned with campaign messaging.
  • Assist in preparing concise internal updates for channels such as RL Today, Microsoft Teams, and Workplace.
  • Track campaign communications and engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with data organization or visualization tools a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
  • Interest in corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, and employee engagement.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of the Ralph Lauren aesthetic, brand heritage, and the retail industry
