Job Summary

The Data Entry Analyst plays a dual role of ensuring the accurate entry of critical data while also analyzing that data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. This position requires a blend of precision, analytical thinking, and strong data management skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update information in databases and data platforms

  • Review large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, or duplications

  • Conduct basic data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies

  • Assist in the preparation of regular reports and dashboards for internal use

  • Work with team members to improve data quality, processes, and reporting methods

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

  • Ensure compliance with data governance and company policies

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proven experience in data entry, analysis, or a similar role

  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and Google Sheets

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (a plus)

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data trends or discrepancies

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, databases, or CRM/ERP systems

  • Understanding of data validation rules and best practices in data management

  • Previous experience in a tech-driven or analytical role
