Job Description

Zapier is looking for a Field Marketing Manager (Third-Party Events & Partnerships) to build and scale our presence across industry conferences, partner-led events, and externally hosted experiences.

In this role, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and optimization of all third-party event motions, including sponsorships, partner activations, and programs that empower teams across Zapier to participate effectively in external events.

This is a high-visibility role that blends thoughtful program design with hands-on execution. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Brand, and Partner teams to ensure Zapier shows up with clarity, quality, and impact, and that third-party events meaningfully influence awareness, relationships, and pipeline.

If you love turning conferences, partner events, and external platforms into high-impact moments for prospects and customers, this role is for you.

About You

  • You have 6–8+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or partner marketing experience in a B2B/enterprise environment.

  • You have deep experience owning third-party event strategy, from evaluating opportunities and negotiating sponsorships to designing presence and leading on-site orchestration.

  • You understand how external events ladder into pipeline creation and acceleration, and you’re comfortable partnering with Sales and RevOps to connect activity to outcomes.

  • You’ve built or operationalized repeatable playbooks that help companies show up consistently at external events.

  • You can identify new opportunities (industry events, partner activations, speaking slots) based on market signals, ICP needs, and GTM priorities.

  • You’re an exceptional communicator in a remote-first environment, able to drive clarity through documentation, async updates, and structured planning artifacts.

  • You thrive as a high-accountability individual contributor and enjoy collaborating across functions without needing authority.

What You’ll Do

Own Zapier’s third-party event ecosystem

  • Develop and manage the annual third-party event and sponsorship strategy aligned to GTM and pipeline priorities.

  • Evaluate event opportunities using criteria based on audience quality, persona fit, cost, impact potential, and measurement.

  • Negotiate sponsorships and build activation plans that maximize visibility and convert interest into sales engagement.

  • Create repeatable playbooks that allow Sales, PMM, and other internal teams to participate in external events with consistency and quality.

Partner-led activation programs

  • Build a partner event enablement program in partnership with Partner Marketing: tooling, templates, messaging, and processes that empower partners to represent Zapier effectively at their events.

  • Work with the Channel team to operationalize MDF opportunities, co-marketing plays, and partner-hosted events.

Measurement & insights

  • Define success metrics across attendance quality, meetings created, influenced pipeline, and brand engagement.

  • Produce thoughtful pre-event briefs and post-event recaps synthesizing insights, results, and strategic recommendations.

  • Use data to guide future investment decisions and refine the third-party event mix.

Cross-functional partnership

  • Collaborate with Sales, PMM, Brand, RevOps, and Partnerships to align on regional priorities, personas, and goals.

  • Coordinate follow-up motions with Sales to ensure momentum translates into conversations and deals.

  • Represent third-party event insights in GTM planning cycles and cross-functional reviews.

On-site execution

  • Manage vendors, logistics, and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery of every element of Zapier’s presence.

  • Lead on-site operations as needed, bringing consistency and a strong brand presence to all external events.

Application Deadline:

The anticipated application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later, or if the position is filled.
