GA4 / GTM / Google Ads — Full Website Tracking & Conversion Audit

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

I run a local service business using a WordPress/Elementor website, Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Urable for online booking.

I'm looking for an experienced analytics and conversion-tracking specialist to perform a complete audit of my website's tracking and measurement setup, correct any issues, and leave me with a clean and reliable analytics structure.

Urable booking attribution is an important part of the project, but this is not limited to troubleshooting one job_booked event. I want the entire tracking setup reviewed.

Primary Goal

I want confidence that GA4, GTM, my website, Google Ads, and Urable are communicating correctly and that the data I'm using to make advertising and website decisions is accurate.

Once everything is verified, I want Google Ads receiving a reliable completed-booking conversion signal that can eventually be used for conversion-based bidding such as Maximize Conversions.

Full Website / Analytics Audit

Please review the entire current implementation, including:

GA4 property and data-stream configuration

Google Tag Manager container and existing tags, triggers, and variables

Google tag implementation across the website

Duplicate, obsolete, conflicting, or incorrectly firing tags/events

GA4 events currently being collected and whether they are configured appropriately

Key events/conversions and whether they represent meaningful user actions

Traffic-source and attribution accuracy

Referral/self-referral issues

UTM parameter handling

Google Ads and GA4 linking

Google Ads conversion tracking and Conversion Linker configuration

Consent/tracking configuration where applicable

Whether important website interactions are currently missing from analytics

General GA4 data quality and anything else that could cause inaccurate or misleading reporting

I am not looking to create dozens of unnecessary events simply because they can be tracked. I want a clean, useful measurement setup that captures information that is actually valuable for understanding website and advertising performance.

Urable / Completed Booking Tracking

After reviewing the overall setup, I also need the booking flow thoroughly audited:

Google Ad → WordPress website → Urable → completed booking

This includes:

Verify exactly how the existing job_booked event is generated

Confirm that it represents a real completed booking

Ensure one booking does not create duplicate conversions

Determine whether cross-domain tracking is configured correctly

Check whether GCLID and other attribution information survive the transition to Urable

Identify any session resets or referral problems

Determine what Urable technically allows regarding GA4, confirmation events, webhooks, postbacks, or other integrations

Recommend and implement the most accurate practical method of attributing completed bookings back to Google Ads

Configure Google Ads primary vs. secondary conversion actions appropriately

Remove or demote conversion actions that should not influence automated bidding

If Urable has technical limitations that prevent perfect attribution, I want those limitations clearly identified rather than worked around in a way that produces misleading data.

Testing & Verification

I don't want the project considered complete simply because a tag appears to fire.

The final implementation should be tested across the actual customer journey using appropriate tools such as GTM Preview/Tag Assistant, GA4 DebugView, browser/network inspection, and Google Ads diagnostics.

Where practical, I want a completed test booking traced through the system to verify what GA4 and Google Ads actually receive.

Final Deliverable

At completion, I want:

A clean GA4/GTM implementation

Accurate and useful website analytics

Duplicate/unnecessary tracking removed

Correct Google Ads/GA4 configuration

A clearly defined completed-booking conversion

Google Ads configured so the correct conversion(s) can be used for bidding

Confirmation that the setup has been tested

A brief explanation/documentation of what was changed and how the final tracking structure works

Identification of any limitations caused by Urable or other third-party systems

Important

I am not primarily looking for ongoing Google Ads campaign management.

I already manage my campaigns, keywords, ads, budgets, and landing pages. This project is about making sure the measurement infrastructure underneath those decisions is accurate and properly configured.

Before a contract is finalized, I can provide screenshots, current settings, access details, or any other information needed to evaluate the existing setup and properly determine the scope of work.
