4tify has an open GitHub Intern position in Ahmedabad for motivated freshers and final-year students. You will work on live version control and developer workflow projects and finish with something you can genuinely talk about in interviews. About the role As a GitHub Intern at 4tify, your core focus will be keeping history clean and branches mergeable, so a release can be reasoned about later. You are attached to a named mentor, join the team's stand-ups and reviews, and are trusted with work that matters rather than filler tasks. Questions are encouraged, your output is reviewed properly, and you get the feedback you need to actually improve. What you'll do day to day • Work on keeping history clean and branches mergeable, so a release can be reasoned about later alongside the core team • Use Git, Branching Strategies, Pull Requests & Review, Merge Conflict Resolution, GitHub or GitLab on live, production-facing problems • Turn your work into clear documentation, notes or decks for reviewers • Take part in reviews and act on the feedback you receive • Collaborate across functions — engineering, product, design or business as the work demands • Follow the team's quality, testing and documentation standards • Track and report your own progress against an agreed plan Skills you'll build You will build practical, demonstrable experience in Git, Branching Strategies, Pull Requests & Review, Merge Conflict Resolution, GitHub or GitLab, CI/CD, Commit Hygiene, Tagging & Releases, Shell, Documentation — the exact toolkit that separates a hireable fresher from a CV full of coursework. No prior work experience is required. Curiosity, problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn matter far more here than a polished résumé, and every one of these skills is taught on the job. Who should apply Students in their final year or recent graduates from B.E./B.Tech (CSE/IT/ECE), BCA/MCA or B.Sc/M.Sc (Computer Science / IT) based in or willing to work from Ahmedabad. You should be willing to learn Git, Branching Strategies, Pull Requests & Review and able to communicate clearly in writing. Personal projects, coursework, certifications or open-source contributions strengthen your application, but none of them are mandatory. Internship details This is a 3-month internship in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with a stipend of ₹19,000 per month. You will be given a defined project so that you leave with a branching and review workflow the team adopted. Working hours follow the team's normal business hours and the internship includes a certificate on successful completion. Expect to leave with real project experience, exposure to professional tooling and process, and mentorship that helps you plan a concrete next step in your career. Outstanding interns can convert to a full-time offer at the end of the internship. 2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
