Lifepoint Healthcare Ltd | Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Brokerage

We work with leading insurers including Bupa, AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, WPA, The Exeter, Freedom Health, PHC, and others. This is an ideal role for an experienced PMI adviser looking for a professional, friendly, fully-remote environment where advice quality genuinely matters.

Join our award-winning team

We’re a multiple award-winning Private Medical Insurance brokerage, supporting both individual and SME clients across the UK.

Our team is warm, close-knit, and known for doing things properly.
Not call-center scripts. Not volume-driven sales. Just thoughtful, ethical advice and real client relationships.

We’re now looking for an experienced Health Insurance Adviser to join our growing remote team.

This role suits someone who already understands how health insurance works from an advisory perspective. Applicants must have recent experience advising clients on PMI. This is not a training role.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of advising clients on both new business and renewals, working across consumer and SME.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on Private Medical Insurance across SME and consumer
  • Managing renewals, comprehensive reviews, and mid-term needs from an adviser perspective
  • Providing clear guidance on underwriting, exclusions, and medical history
  • Structuring cover to client needs, budget, and risk profile
  • Handling new-business enquiries end-to-end
  • Identifying and advising appropriate switching opportunities to improve client outcomes
  • Building long-term client relationships based on trust and clarity
  • Working closely with our Client Support Team to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant records in line with FCA standards

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years’ experience advising clients on Private Medical Insurance
  • Has worked with insurers such as Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, WPA, Freedom Health etc
  • Is confident explaining underwriting, moratoriums, exclusions and policy structures
  • Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing, even in sensitive conversations
  • Can juggle multiple priorities calmly and efficiently
  • Enjoys building long-term client relationships rather than chasing volume
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing ideas
  • Is comfortable working fully remote (we operate like one office on Teams)
  • Is organised, reliable, and takes real pride in their work
  • Wants to be part of something meaningful, not just another sales role

This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to “get by.”
We’re a genuinely caring, professional, and hardworking team, and we’re looking for an adviser who brings that same energy and pride.

What We Offer

  • Basic salary: £32,000-£40,000 depending on experience
  • Commission: Uncapped. Realistic OTE £55,000-£70,000
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00-17:30 (flex: 9:30–18:00), early Friday finish during winter months
  • Holidays: 33 days (includes bank holidays and published religious/seasonal dates)
  • Benefits:
  • Pension
  • Private medical insurance
  • Group life insurance
  • Group income protection
  • Cash plan
  • Wellbeing programme
  • Training & Growth: Ongoing professional development and long-term career path
  • Culture: Supportive, down-to-earth, and growth-focused. We genuinely look after our people.
