We are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist specialist for our San Rafael medical office location. This team member is a vital part of BAFC as s/he is nearly always the first contact people have with our practice. The successful candidate will work well with our existing team of professionals to create an environment strong in customer service, organization and responsibility while creating and supporting a smooth operating office.

Primary responsibilities include:

Expertly answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude
- Ensure new patient appointments are scheduled promptly
- Schedule/book follow up patient appointments
- Take messages accurately and ensure follow through
- Provide superior customer service

-Route electronic faxes to the correct team member

Other duties may include:
Confirming insurance benefits and deductibles
Use of electronic medical records
Faxing, copying, stocking
Assist the doctors and office medical staff with various duties

Experience and Qualifications:

Prior medical front office experience REQUIRED (at least 1 year)
