This contract role will play a critical part in finance data validation, migration coordination, reconciliation, and business readiness as the organization prepares for implementation go-live.</p> <p> This is an opportunity for a practical accounting or controllership professional with ERP implementation experience to work closely with finance stakeholders, project teams, and business leaders in a fast-moving, operational environment.</p> <strong> Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li> Lead and coordinate finance-related data validation and migration activities across accounting and business teams.</li> <li> Perform and oversee <strong> pre-load and post-load data validation</strong> to ensure financial data is complete, accurate, reconciled, and correctly configured in Oracle Fusion.</li> <li> Establish clear validation steps, deliverables, evidence requirements, and sign-off processes for UAT and go-live readiness.</li> <li> Partner with accounting, controllership, project, and implementation teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.</li> <li> Drive hands-on reconciliations between legacy-source data and Oracle Fusion-loaded data.</li> <li> Coordinate stakeholder activities, timelines, dependencies, and communications through implementation cycles.</li> <li> Support business readiness and formal finance sign-offs as validation requirements become more rigorous.</li> <li> Work with segment project leadership to execute the program strategy and manage day-to-day deliverables.</li> <li> Contribute to a multi-release Oracle Fusion rollout, with the immediate focus on the first release and upcoming go-live activities.</li> </ul> <strong> Required Qualifications</strong> <ul> <li> Strong background in <strong> financial accounting, controllership, or systems controllership</strong>.</li> <li> Proven experience supporting an <strong> ERP implementation or finance transformation</strong> initiative.</li> <li> Demonstrated ability to lead hands-on data validation, data migration, and reconciliation work.</li> <li> Strong understanding of financial data, controls, accounting processes, and implementation testing.</li> <li> Experience partnering directly with accounting teams to define required validation activities and obtain business sign-off.</li> <li> Able to balance stakeholder coordination with detailed, individual-contributor execution.</li> <li> Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving priorities.</li> <li> Clear, confident communicator with strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.</li> </ul> <strong> Preferred Qualifications</strong> <ul> <li> Oracle Fusion experience, particularly within finance modules.</li> <li> Experience with Oracle project accounting or related project modules.</li> <li> Background in construction, engineering, field services, or another operationally complex environment.</li> <li> Experience supporting UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.</li> </ul> <strong> Engagement Details</strong> <ul> <li> <strong> Location:</strong> Remote; candidates located in Central or Eastern time zones are preferred.</li> <li> <strong> Travel:</strong> May be requested during cutover or key implementation periods; details are still to be determined.</li> <li> <strong> Duration:</strong> Initial engagement expected to run approximately five to six months, through at least January, with potential extension based on future release needs.</li> <li> <strong> Start:</strong> As soon as possible, ideally within the next several weeks.</li></ul>
