College Student Recruitment Specialist – Remote, Part-Time

About Moore Marine College

Moore Marine College is a private college located in Clearwater, Florida, offering bachelor's and master's degree programs in marine biology and marine conservation. Our college emphasizes small class sizes, personalized education, and hands-on scientific research involving sharks, rays, and other marine species.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced, motivated college student recruitment specialist to help us actively recruit new students for our degree programs.

This is a student recruitment position, NOT an administrative admissions position. Our primary objective is to generate new prospective student leads, inquiries, and applications.

Responsibilities

- Identify and recruit prospective college students interested in marine biology, marine conservation, and related sciences.

- Develop relationships with high school guidance counselors, community colleges, and educational organizations.

- Conduct targeted outreach to prospective students throughout the United States.

- Develop and implement effective student recruitment strategies.

- Generate qualified leads and encourage prospective students to submit applications.

- Recommend cost-effective methods to increase student enrollment.

- Provide weekly progress reports documenting outreach activities, qualified leads, inquiries, and applications.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience recruiting students for U.S. colleges or universities.

- Understanding of the American higher education admissions process.

- Experience with lead generation, student outreach, and enrollment recruitment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and produce measurable results.

Experience recruiting for small private colleges or specialized STEM programs is highly desirable.

Project Details

- Location: Fully remote

- Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week

- Duration: Initial 90-day contract

- Compensation: $25–$40 per hour, depending on experience

- Potential for contract extension based on performance

Communication and Expectations

We are a small, growing college seeking someone who can work independently, communicate directly with college leadership, and provide concise weekly updates.

We value initiative, professionalism, accountability, and measurable results.

When Applying, Please Answer These Questions:

1. What experience do you have recruiting students for U.S. colleges or universities?

2. What specific strategies would you use to recruit students interested in marine biology?

3. How would you generate qualified prospective student leads during your first 30 days?

4. Can you provide examples of previous student recruitment results?

5. What is your hourly rate?

We are looking for someone who can actively bring new prospective students to Moore Marine College—not simply manage existing applications.
