About the position

AO is expanding its nationwide virtual team and seeking motivated, service-oriented professionals to join us as Remote Member Success Advisors. In this role, you'll connect virtually with individuals and families who have requested information regarding available benefits, help them understand their options, guide them through enrollment, and provide ongoing member support. This opportunity combines customer service, member relations, benefits education, consultative insurance sales, and long-term relationship management in a fully remote environment. We provide the training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development needed to get started. No prior insurance experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled virtual appointments through Zoom and phone
  • Connect with individuals and families seeking information regarding available benefits
  • Listen to each member's needs, priorities, and questions
  • Answer benefit and coverage questions clearly and professionally
  • Provide personalized service throughout the member experience
  • Assist with applicable policy reviews and service requests
  • Maintain consistent follow-up communication
  • Address questions and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate digital records and documentation
  • Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
  • Review benefit features and coverage options
  • Help members evaluate solutions based on their individual needs
  • Provide needs-based recommendations
  • Guide members through applications and enrollment
  • Assist with required documentation
  • Help ensure members understand the coverage they select
  • Provide continued support after enrollment
  • Focus on scheduled member consultations, benefits education, needs-based conversations, enrollment assistance, relationship building, follow-up, and ongoing member service.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Have access to a reliable computer or laptop
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet
  • Have webcam and microphone capability
  • Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace
  • Be comfortable communicating with members through Zoom and phone
  • Be willing to complete required training and professional development
  • Be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous insurance experience is not required.
