Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at brighthush, you will be the backbone of our data integrity initiatives. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include Transferring data from a variety of sources—PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, and legacy systems—into our secure, cloud‑based database. Updating existing records with new information, ensuring that every entry reflects the most current data available. Identifying, correcting, and reconciling inaccuracies or inconsistencies in files and records. Performing routine data quality checks, audits, and validation against source documents. Maintaining meticulous backup procedures, including scheduled snapshots and off‑site storage, to safeguard against data loss. Organizing physical and digital paperwork, including archiving, labeling, and indexing, to streamline retrieval and compliance. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—such as IT, Compliance, and Operations—to resolve data discrepancies and improve processes. Documenting data entry protocols, creating SOPs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection standards in accordance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). Participating in regular training sessions to stay current with new tools, software updates, and best practices. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1–2 years of data entry or administrative experience, preferably in a remote setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Airtable). Strong typing speed (≥ 60 words per minute) with exceptional accuracy.
