This role will lead the customer data pillar for global commercial platforms, focusing on account and contact data strategy, governance, and usability to enhance commercial effectiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the global owner for the commercial customer data pillar, with a core focus on accounts and contacts across commercial platforms and systems
  • Design, manage, and maintain core customer data views that support business needs across multiple commercial systems
  • Lead the structure and ongoing maintenance of the Account and Contact 360 views in partnership with business unit stakeholders and cross functional partners
  • Own and maintain the Commercial MDM data structure globally, ensuring account, contact, and related sales data are represented in a streamlined, meaningful, and scalable way
  • Drive simplification across Orthopedics commercial data while preserving the functionality required by business users and commercial teams
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure customer data is visualized and reported with quality, accuracy, and clarity
  • Reduce ambiguity and confusion in customer data by establishing clear ownership, definitions, governance, and reporting standards
  • Support product governance activities and maintain partnership with the Data Strategies team to ensure alignment across related data and platform initiatives

Skills

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum of 6 years progressive business experience is required
  • Experience managing customer, account, contact, commercial, or master data within complex commercial platforms
  • Strong understanding of account and contact data structures, including 360-degree customer views and cross-system data alignment
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define data requirements, improve data usability, and support reporting needs
  • Ability to operate as a bridge between business teams, platform owners, data teams, and governance stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex data topics for business audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with business leaders and translate commercial needs into scalable system and data solutions
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
