Job Summary

UPWORK is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Paid Media (PPC) Assistant to support our growing digital marketing initiatives. In this role, you will assist in planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, data-driven decision-making, and eager to grow their expertise in paid media management while working in a flexible, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, management, and optimization of PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other digital platforms.

  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and ad copy testing to improve campaign performance.

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.) and prepare regular performance reports.

  • Support in A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies.

  • Collaborate with content and design teams to create effective ad visuals and messaging.

  • Track conversions and ensure accurate campaign attribution using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager.

  • Stay up to date with the latest paid media trends, best practices, and platform updates.

  • Assist in competitor analysis and performance benchmarking.

  • Contribute to budget tracking, pacing, and forecasting activities.

  • Provide general administrative and analytical support to the Paid Media Manager and broader marketing team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of PPC advertising concepts and platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with remote teams.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, digital advertising, or analytics support role preferred.

  • Experience with paid media tools or certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, etc.) is an advantage but not required for entry-level applicants.

Working Hours

  • Fully remote, flexible working schedule.

  • Expected to be available for core collaboration hours between 9 AM – 5 PM (GMT/EST depending on client region).

  • Occasional coordination with international teams may require flexible hours.
