Sales Executive — AI SaaS

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Asia, United States, APAC, Philippines

About Quantum Strides

Quantum Strides LLC is a US-based AI and enterprise software company headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia, with delivery teams across the US, India and the Philippines. We are an IBM and AWS partner, SOC 2 certified, and work with Fortune 1000 enterprises, mid-size companies and public-sector agencies.

The Product

You will sell an AI SaaS product in our portfolio: a conversational AI platform that lets a business stand up a secure AI assistant over its own content and data, with sourced and attributable answers. It is self-onboarding, subscription-priced across tiers, and integrates with the customer's CRM. The buyers are small and mid-size US businesses, and individual departments inside larger organisations — typically an owner, operations lead, marketing lead or customer-support manager.

The Role

We are hiring a Sales Executive, based in the Philippines, to carry an individual quota against this product in the US market. You will prospect, qualify, demo and close, and stay close enough to your accounts through onboarding that they stick and expand.

This is a high-velocity SaaS sales role, not an enterprise solution-selling role. Deal cycles run days to weeks, not quarters. Success is measured in new paid subscriptions per month, conversion rate from trial to paid, and retention of the accounts you sign. You will run a high volume of discovery calls and demos and work both inbound trial signups and your own outbound pipeline.

You will work US Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hit your monthly quota. Carry and consistently achieve a monthly target for net new paid subscriptions and new recurring revenue.
  • Convert the inbound funnel. Work trial and free-tier signups assigned to you — reach out fast, run the demo, remove the blocker, convert to paid.
  • Build outbound pipeline. Prospect your own list of US SMB and mid-market targets and run multi-channel outreach by email, LinkedIn and phone. Generate enough top-of-funnel to make your number without waiting on marketing.
  • Run demos that close. Deliver crisp, business-outcome-focused product demos over video and move prospects to a paid plan in the same or the next conversation.
  • Grow deal size. Spot and land multi-seat, multi-department, agency and reseller opportunities rather than settling for single-user subscriptions.
  • Protect retention. Hand off cleanly to onboarding, stay engaged through the first 60–90 days, and drive tier upgrades, annual prepayments and renewals.
  • Keep the CRM clean. Log every lead, activity, opportunity and stage change in Zoho CRM. Forecast weekly and accurately.
  • Feed back the market. Report objections, lost-deal reasons, pricing pushback and feature gaps to product and sales leadership.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • A documented record of hitting quota. Three or more years selling a SaaS or subscription software product, with specific, verifiable numbers you can walk us through — quota, attainment, deal count, average deal size. This is the single most important qualification. Candidates who cannot evidence consistent target achievement will not be progressed.
  • You have closed, not just sourced. You have owned deals from first contact to signed subscription and payment — not an SDR role that hands off at the demo.
  • Sold to US buyers. Direct experience selling into the United States market, to US decision-makers, remotely.
  • Relevant product experience. You have sold self-serve or low-touch SaaS — AI or chatbot tools, automation, CRM, marketing, support or productivity software in roughly the $30–$500 per month range. You understand trials, tiers, churn and MRR.
  • High-velocity temperament. Comfortable with volume: many conversations, short cycles, fast no's, disciplined follow-up. You manage your own week and know your own numbers.
  • US Eastern Time availability. Able and willing to work a full US ET business day, consistently, long term.
  • Communication. Excellent spoken and written English, confident and credible on video with US business owners and managers.
  • Home setup. Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet professional workspace, and a backup connection or power arrangement.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience selling AI, conversational AI, chatbot or automation products.
  • Hands-on with Zoho CRM (or HubSpot / Salesforce) and modern outbound tooling.
  • Experience converting a product-led or free-trial funnel, not only cold outbound.
  • Experience landing agency, reseller or partner-led accounts.

Who This Role Is Not For

We would rather be clear up front than waste your time:

  • This is not a long-cycle enterprise or systems-integration sales role. If your background is six-to-eighteen month CXO-level deals with a bid team behind you, this will feel uncomfortably fast.
  • This is not a lead-generation or appointment-setting role. You close.
  • This is not an account-management seat on an established book of business. A significant share of your pipeline will come from your own prospecting.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: You know the product cold, can demo it unaided, have a working target list, and have run your first demos.
  • First 90 days: You are hitting your monthly new-subscription target, your Zoho pipeline is clean and forecastable, and your conversion rates by source are visible.
  • First 12 months: You have met or beaten your annual quota, retention on the accounts you signed is within plan, and you have landed at least one multi-seat or reseller account.

Compensation & Working Arrangement

  • Competitive base salary, benchmarked to the upper end of the Philippine SaaS sales market for proven closers.
  • Attractive, uncapped performance incentives tied to new paid subscriptions, subscription tier and value, annual prepayments, and retention of the accounts you sign. Strong performance is designed to add materially to base earnings.
  • Milestone bonuses for defined achievement levels.
  • Fully remote, working US Eastern Time hours.
  • A growing US company, an AI product category with real momentum, and clear room to progress as the sales team expands.

How to Apply

Send your CV along with a short note covering three things:

  • Your quota and your actual attainment for each of your last two roles, with deal counts and average deal size.
  • One subscription deal you closed end to end — how you found it, what the objection was, and how you closed it.
  • Your experience working US time zone hours.

Applications without specific, verifiable performance numbers will not be reviewed.

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
