As a Security Officer Flex Patrol Part Time in Hunt Valley, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.


Pay Rate: $21.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

  • Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, following visitor-management and access-control procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
