Hiring Servers NOW

Are you upbeat and friendly? Do you have a strong desire to please people? Are you able to work at a fast pace and multi-task? We want you now!

Working at Denny’s, you can make a guest feel amazing, and get paid doing it. You’ll earn excellent money and may be eligible for benefits like flexible schedules and discounts on meals. You will have opportunities for personal and professional growth, and our training programs are the best in the industry. Whether you’re looking for a full time career with potential for advancement or just a part time position to make some extra cash, we’re open to that.

A Denny’s restaurant a busy place and you’re part of a team. People are our most important asset. We trust and support each other, working together for the greater good. We recognize that success will only be achieved through the contributions of ALL and it takes the “Power of We” to accomplish great things. Together, we will celebrate our successes.

SERVER / HOSPITALITY AMBASSADOR

We want our restaurant to feel like home, and you’re welcoming our guests into our home with open arms. Front and center, the Server delivers great service with a smile – every time! You don’t have to be a pro from the get go, but you should be open to learning how to do it the Denny’s way. To our Guests, you are Denny’s.

A Denny’s Server has a “Guests First” attitude, responding to guests and coworkers in a timely, courteous, and respectful way while:

•	Greeting and seating guests.
•	Taking and delivering great food.
•	Suggesting new menu items like our limited time offerings or flavored coffees.
•	Receiving payment for the Cashier and making correct change.
•	Willingly assisting team members without being asked.
•	Helping to keep our restaurants clean, completing side work, and organizing supplies as needed.
•	Providing total guest satisfaction.

While we may not need to hire a Server immediately, we’re constantly looking for terrific people. If you have a passion for great food and great service, come on in. We’ll accept your application day or night… we’re always open.

Denny’s is open, all right. We’re open every hour of every day and you’re welcome here whenever the whim hits you. We’re open to good prices so that everyone can leave satisfied. We’re open to all kinds of food for all kinds of tastes — with new specials all the time. We’re open to your suggestions. We’re open to your feedback.

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
