Social Media Marketing Specialist

Other Jobs To Apply

Jean Law Group is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Specialist to strengthen our digital presence, expand our reach, and help us educate and connect with immigrant communities.

We are an immigration law firm committed to providing exceptional legal representation while treating every client with respect, dignity, kindness, and compassion. Our social media presence is an extension of that mission. We are looking for someone who understands that our content should do more than generate views—it should educate, build trust, establish authority, create community, and ultimately generate qualified leads for the firm.

The Role

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing Jean Law Group’s social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

This person should be able to take immigration news, legal updates, firm accomplishments, community events, client-centered educational topics, and attorney insights and transform them into engaging, easy-to-understand content.

The ideal candidate is not simply someone who can post content. We are looking for someone who can think strategically about our brand, audience, engagement, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar.
  • Create, schedule, and publish consistent content across all firm social media platforms.
  • Work closely with the attorney to turn immigration updates and legal information into engaging, understandable content.
  • Develop short-form video concepts, including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, educational videos, and timely immigration updates.
  • Write compelling captions, hooks, calls to action, and promotional copy.
  • Edit short-form videos and repurpose longer videos into multiple pieces of content.
  • Create or coordinate branded graphics, carousels, thumbnails, and other visual content.
  • Monitor immigration news and trending topics to identify timely content opportunities.
  • Ensure information is presented responsibly and that legal content provided by the attorney is not altered in a way that changes its meaning.
  • Manage comments, messages, and audience engagement in accordance with firm guidelines.
  • Develop campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and generate qualified consultations.
  • Promote speaking engagements, community events, media appearances, firm accomplishments, and educational initiatives.
  • Track analytics including reach, engagement, follower growth, video performance, website traffic, inquiries, and conversions.
  • Provide regular reports identifying what is working, what is not working, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, social media best practices, and emerging content opportunities.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and professional image across all platforms.

Who We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Creative and full of ideas.
  • A strong storyteller.
  • An excellent writer with strong attention to grammar and detail.
  • Comfortable editing short-form video.
  • Able to recognize trends without making the firm's content feel gimmicky.
  • Highly organized and able to manage a consistent posting schedule.
  • Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to post.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where immigration news can change quickly.
  • Able to communicate serious and sensitive topics with empathy and professionalism.
  • Data-driven and willing to adjust strategy based on performance.
  • Dependable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Passionate about creating content that has a meaningful impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing social media for a professional service business, law firm, personal brand, or similar organization.
  • Demonstrated success growing social media accounts and engagement.
  • Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Canva and video-editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of short-form video strategy.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling platforms.
  • Experience with lead-generation campaigns is a plus.
  • Experience marketing to multicultural or immigrant communities is strongly preferred.
  • Haitian Creole language skills are a significant plus.

Applicants should also provide a brief explanation of how they would approach growing the social media presence of an immigration law firm and include three content ideas they would recommend for Jean Law Group.

We are looking for someone who does not simply want to “manage social media.” We want someone who is excited about building a brand, telling meaningful stories, educating a community, and helping Jean Law Group expand its impact.

Company Description

At the heart of our success is a deep-seated respect for every individual who walks through our doors. We believe that every client deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness,
regardless of their background or legal circumstances. Our team embodies patience, professionalism, and unwavering support, ensuring that every client feels heard, valued, and empowered.
We distinguish ourselves from the sea of immigration
law firms by providing unparalleled service and
achieving exceptional results. Every case is handled
with a personal touch—our attorney and staff know
each client by name and understand their unique story. We go beyond the legal paperwork, becoming partners in their journey to live out the American dream. The founder of Jean Law Group, Ruth Jean, entered the United States with her mother by boat at the age of two. Because of her own personal experience being undocumented, she understands the complexities of the immigration process and can empathize with those in the process. Her journey fuels the firm’s mission and commitment to fighting for immigrant families, ensuring they received the advocacy and representation they deserve.
