Staff Product Designer, Document Cloud Mobile Ecosystem and Strategy

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

The opportunity  The Document Cloud Mobile Design team is looking for a systems thinker who lives and breathes mobile: someone who understands iOS and Android at a foundational level and can build systems that work beautifully across both. But systems alone are not enough. We need someone who can look around corners, articulate where mobile design is headed, and bring people along on that vision.  Document Cloud reaches over 650 million monthly active users and is Adobe's fastest-growing cloud. The designer who takes this role will shape how millions of people experience documents, signatures, and AI-powered productivity on mobile every day.  What you'll do  You will be the mobile champion for Document Cloud: unifying design language, patterns, and systems across Acrobat's mobile pillars, and serving as the primary bridge to the Document Cloud Foundations team. You will contribute to the strategic direction of mobile design at Adobe, helping define not just how things are built today but where they need to go. You will define and execute at both levels: the component in front of you and the system it belongs to. Strong visual design execution is non-negotiable.  Because this work spans multiple pillars and partner teams, the relationships you build are as important as the systems you create. The best person for this role earns trust across teams, influences without authority, and knows that a great system is only as powerful as the people who believe in it.  In this role, you will:  Steward a cohesive systems strategy across Document Cloud mobile properties, defining and communicating vision in a way that is clear, inspiring, and easy to rally around.  Listen deeply to customers, connecting friction points to experience opportunities and finding simplicity inside complexity.  Move fluidly from concept to execution: sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes, using feedback and research to sharpen decisions and build shared conviction.  Partner closely with engineering to understand what emerging technology makes possible, and with product, executives, and cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life.  Proactively build relationships across pillars to align on strategy, extend design patterns, and create coherence across the mobile ecosystem. What you need to succeed  6+ years of a proven track record designing and shipping iOS and Android apps with strong visual craft and systems thinking  Experience leading design for complex products and launching them at scale  Mastery of Figma and fluency with modern prototyping and AI-assisted design tools  Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across disciplines and seniority levels  A collaborative instinct and genuine enthusiasm for working across many teams and subject areas  College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or a related field  Experience designing for mobile productivity, AI-first applications, and/or voice-led experiences  Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.   Understanding how to apply WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.   Accessibility certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP are a plus  How to apply  Submit your resume and portfolio. We would especially like to see strong systems thinking, elegant design solutions, how you collaborate across teams including engineering and product, and a proven ability to adapt based on what you learn.  About Adobe Design  Adobe Design creates tools that amplify the world's ability to create and communicate.
