From analyzing data to influencing decision making, to building customer relationships and shaping deals – this program gives you the exposure and experience to start building a future in commercial business.

About the Origination track within the ST&S graduate programST&S is bp's face to the traded markets in oil, natural gas, power, chemicals, renewables and finance. ST&S's role is to improve bp value through distinctive supply, commodity trading, risk management and technology skills. This is underpinned by outstanding analytics, finance, control and compliance infrastructure. As an Origination Graduate, you will work alongside experienced commercial professionals to develop energy solutions for customers across wholesale natural gas, power and natural gas liquids.

We want candidates to be developed and highly skilled to propose new and creative ways to maximize value. There are many commercial teams responsible for building and maintaining key relationships, developing unique commodity solutions to address bp's and our customers' business needs creating additional value for our trading business.

We invest in our Graduates through structured rotational experiences to build exposure to customer engagement, commercial strategy, deal structuring, and market fundamentals helping them develop into future Origination professionals.

Our rotations include natural gas and power origination, structured products, and trading operations.
