Job Description:

  • Promote Pfizer’s Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Launch new products and develop strategies to manage business relationships
  • Understand and secure formulary access
  • Conduct product promotion within the assigned geography
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Engage customers face to face and virtually
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans
  • Identify and implement live and virtual customer engagement strategies
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Use approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources compliantly
  • Demonstrate market knowledge across Public Health, Private Market, Retail and other relevant channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete administrative responsibilities, including customer call entries, expense submissions and responses to internal requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity; small business owner or other entrepreneurial experience; marketing, customer service and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles; educator roles; or full-time military experience
  • Alternative qualification: associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience
  • Alternative qualification: high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience preferred
  • Prior vaccines experience strongly preferred
  • Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, communications skills, teamwork, leadership ability and accountability preferred
  • Experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
  • Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
  • Reside within the territory boundaries preferred
