About the position

The Designer of Color, Materials, and Graphics for Crocs will be part of a team creating consumer-centric, disruptive, and innovative products that engage our consumer across the global energy landscape. You will bring a strong sport sensibility to the design and development of Classic Sport, Crocbrand, Echo, Mellow, and SNKRS, while sharing our passion for icons and molded innovation. You thrive as part of a dynamic, fast-paced, forward-thinking team. Responsibilities

  • Have a passion for Style, Hype Culture, Sport Culture, and Street Culture.
  • Bring forward-thinking design aesthetic, strong sport sensibility, and high taste level to Classic Sport, Crocbrand, Echo, Mellow, and SNKRS
  • Under the direction of the Director of Color, Materials, Graphics, deliver compelling designs that surprise and delight our consumer.
  • Deliver concepts, designs, details, materials, and technical drawings for all projects in a timely manner.
  • Partner closely with Product Development to obsess the details and continuously develop new, compelling ideas.
  • Partner with Category Management teams to deliver multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment that meets global business needs.
  • Demonstrate a passion for forward-thinking global consumers and brands, turning sport and cultural insights into action in a way that is right for the Crocs brand.

Requirements

  • A strong sport design sensibility and demonstrated ability to translate athletic, lifestyle, and street-sport influences into consumer-relevant color, material, and graphic stories.
  • Experience designing sport-inspired footwear or product collections; experience across Classic Sport, Crocbrand, Echo, Mellow, and SNKRS is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial, Apparel, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant design experience.
  • Experience with graphic and/or footwear design, including sketching; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator; knowledge of 2D and 3D design programs is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of footwear construction, patterns, color, materials, and manufacturing considerations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate cross-functionally, and travel domestically and internationally.
