<p>Position Overview</p><br><p>Herdt Consulting is seeking an experienced Informatica IDMC Data Governance Engineer to support a large-scale Workday implementation for a state government client. This role will engineer and configure enterprise data governance capabilities within Informatica IDMC, helping create a governed, searchable, and well-defined data environment across cloud applications, legacy systems, integrations, databases, and downstream consumers. (No third parties)</li><br></ul><br><p>Key Responsibilities</p><br><ul><br> <li>Configure and enhance Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) and related IDMC governance capabilities.</li><br> <li>Implement metadata ingestion, cataloging, asset organization, classifications, domains, business glossary structures, and metadata relationships.</li><br> <li>Configure scanners and connectors and support onboarding of enterprise data sources into the governance and catalog environment.</li><br> <li>Translate governance requirements into technical platform configuration, workflows, rules, and repeatable operating processes.</li><br> <li>Support stewardship workflows, ownership, policies, definitions, and data-domain structures.</li><br> <li>Collaborate with lineage, data quality, architecture, integration, security, and business stakeholders to improve the discoverability and trustworthiness of enterprise data.</li><br></ul><br><p>Required Qualifications</p><br><ul><br> <li>Hands-on implementation or engineering experience with Informatica IDMC data governance/catalog capabilities, preferably CDGC.</li><br> <li>Experience with metadata ingestion, catalogs, business glossaries, classifications, domains, ownership/stewardship, and governance workflows.</li><br> <li>Experience integrating and cataloging metadata from heterogeneous enterprise data sources.</li><br> <li>Ability to translate governance concepts into technical configuration and scalable platform processes.</li><br> <li>Strong communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.</li><br></ul><br><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><br><ul><br> <li>Experience with Informatica Axon and/or Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), particularly modernization or migration to IDMC/CDGC.</li><br> <li>Experience with Workday, financial data, ERP modernization, or public-sector environments.</li><br> <li>Exposure to enterprise data lineage and Informatica Cloud Data Quality.</li><br></ul><br><p>What we can offer you</p><br><ul><br> <li>Excellence: The chance to be part of a company with a reputation for excellence in task execution.</li><br> <li>Time Off: 3 weeks of paid vacation each year plus 11 federal holidays.</li><br> <li>Health Benefits: Competitive Medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Dental, and Vision insurance.</li><br> <li>Financial Security: 401K program with Fidelity (including company match) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).</li><br> <li>Insurance: Short-term and Long-term Disability provided at no cost, plus voluntary Life and AD&D options.</li></ul>
