If this is what you’re all about, consider joining our Team.<br><br>Ascent Hospitality is looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to join our team as Banquet Server!<br><br>The Banquet Server's responsibilities include following a daily schedule, performing proper set-up, maintenance, break-down and cleaning of the breakfast area; responsible for providing excellent guest service and satisfaction.<br><br></strong><strong>BENEFITS:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Competitive Salary!</li><li>Benefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and other supplemental options!</li><li>401k with employer MATCH!</li><li>Paid PTO!</li><li>Uniforms Provided for most positions!</li><li>Team Member Hotel Discount Program!<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Greet all guest with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.</li><li>Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times.</li><li>Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess)</li><li>Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guest & staff.</li><li>Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition</li><li>Adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service</li><li>Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant.</li><li>Assist with clearing and set-up of tables</li><li>Assist with restocking of supplies as needed</li><li>Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members</li><li>Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/ manager.</li><li>Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/ manager <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level, to effectively communicate with Team Members and Guests.</li><li>Must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding Company appearance standards at all times.</li><li>Must be able to apply commonsense understanding, in carrying out instructions</li><li>Must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation.</li><li>Must be available to work flexible shifts, including Holidays.</li><li>Must be able to work without constant supervision.</li><li>Must be able to work well as a part of a team.</li><li>Must be engaging with all guest throughout meal periods; responding to guest and Team Members as required. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:<br><br></strong><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand for long periods of time on hard surface; using arms, hands and legs repetitively; handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, talk, hear and smell.</li><li>Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals, warm temperature and able to work with all food products.</li><li>Must regularly be able to carry and balance up to 25 pounds without assistance.</li><li>Must be capable of effectively using close vision, distance vision, color vision and sense of smell.</li><li>Able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required.</li><li>Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.</li><li>Must have excellent customer service skills</li><li>Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).</li><li>Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>EEO Employer</strong>
