Bring yours to Block.<br><br><strong>The Role<br><br></strong>We’re looking for a People Analyst to help senior People leaders make better, faster decisions through data and clear storytelling. You’ll turn ambiguous questions into analyses, scalable reporting, and actionable recommendations.<br><br>Using analytics tools, data systems, and AI, you’ll build dashboards and insight products covering workforce trends, organizational health, employee experience, talent outcomes, and People Team effectiveness.<br><br>The ideal candidate combines analytical judgment, curiosity, and a strong understanding of how People teams operate.<br><br><strong>You Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner with senior People leaders to clarify priorities and deliver data-backed insights.</li><li>Build analyses, dashboards, and reports on workforce trends, talent outcomes, and organizational health.</li><li>Use AI to accelerate reporting, automate repeatable analyses, and scale insights.</li><li>Translate ambiguous requests into structured analyses and practical recommendations.</li><li>Create executive-ready materials that explain findings, implications, and actions.</li><li>Consult across People functions, including HRBPs, Talent, Compensation, Operations, DEI, Learning, and Employee Experience.</li><li>Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and self-service access to insights.</li><li>Partner with data and systems teams to ensure accurate, reliable reporting.</li><li>Proactively identify workforce trends, risks, and opportunities.<br><br></li></ul><strong>You Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of experience in management consulting or client management.</li><li>Understanding of HR operations, talent processes, workforce planning, employee lifecycle data, and organizational structures.</li><li>Ability to advise senior stakeholders and turn ambiguous questions into practical analyses.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.</li><li>Clear storytelling and communication for executive audiences.</li><li>SQL proficiency and experience with large, complex datasets.</li><li>Working knowledge of data architecture, models, quality, and analytics workflows.</li><li>Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, Qualtrics, or similar platforms.</li><li>Sound judgment with sensitive employee data, including privacy, accuracy, and ethical use.<br><br></li></ul>We’re working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace.
