Video Editor for YouTube, Podcast, Shorts & Online Courses | Long-Term Collaboration

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

I'm an entrepreneur, business advisor, and podcast host looking for a talented, reliable video editor to support my growing personal brand, YouTube channel, podcast, and online education business.

I'm looking for someone interested in building a long-term working relationship, rather than completing occasional one-off projects.

My content focuses on entrepreneurship, business growth, leadership, marketing, AI, personal development, and conversations with founders and business leaders.

I record primarily in English and am looking for a professional, polished, modern editing style that supports my personal brand.

WHAT YOU'LL BE EDITING

The work will include:

1. YouTube Long-Form Videos

•Solo educational and thought-leadership videos

• Clean editing, removing mistakes, unnecessary pauses, and unwanted sections.

• Natural pacing and smooth transitions.

• Occasional text, graphics, B-roll, or visual elements where they genuinely improve the content.

• Basic color correction, audio enhancement, and professional finishing.

2. Podcast Interviews

• Video interviews, recorded remotely or in person.

• Editing conversations for clarity, flow, and viewer engagement.

• Audio cleanup and synchronization where necessary.

• Professional transitions and consistent visual presentation.

• Creating selected short clips from longer interviews.

3. Short-Form Videos

• Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other social media videos.

• Both standalone short videos and clips extracted from longer recordings.

• Engaging pacing, accurate captions, and appropriate on-screen text.

• Strong opening moments and clean visual presentation.

• Formatting for vertical platforms.

4. Online Courses and Masterclasses

• Educational video lessons, workshops, and business training content.

• Clean, professional editing without unnecessary effects.

• Removing mistakes, correcting audio and visuals, and adding slides or graphics where required.

• Organizing videos into final files suitable for online learning platforms.

EDITING STYLE & REFERENCES

I prefer a sophisticated, modern, professional, and engaging editing style that reflects my personal brand and appeals to an international audience of entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, and professionals.

My priority is to create videos that are polished, natural, visually appealing, and easy to follow, while keeping the focus on the message and the speaker's personality.

I appreciate editors who understand storytelling, audience retention, effective pacing, clean and accurate subtitles, tasteful on-screen text, subtle graphics, and purposeful B-roll that genuinely enhances the content.

I'm not looking for excessive effects, constant zooms, distracting animations, unnecessary sound effects, or overly aggressive editing.

I will provide selected reference videos, along with my brand assets, including logos, colors, and fonts. These references are intended as inspiration, not for direct imitation.

Ultimately, I'm looking for an editor who can bring creative ideas and professional judgment while helping me develop a consistent, recognizable visual identity across YouTube videos, podcast interviews, short-form social media content, and online courses.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience editing business/educational YouTube videos and short-form social media content.

• Experience with podcast interviews and educational videos.

• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention.

• Excellent English comprehension to understand the content and edit conversations accurately.

• Good audio-editing and color-correction skills.

• Ability to create accurate, visually appealing subtitles.

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, or another professional editing platform.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Reliable communication and respect for deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and suggest improvements.

• Reliable turnaround: long videos within 3–5 days, Shorts within 2–3 days

• Organized: you work from a shared folder and follow a simple checklist

• Bonus: thumbnails, slides, YouTube uploads (titles, descriptions, chapters), podcast audio editing, Premiere Pro, Riverside.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A COLLABORATOR

I'm looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in producing high-quality work.

• Understands the difference between professional and overedited content.

• Can maintain a consistent visual and editing style across different formats.

• Communicates clearly and proactively.

• Can manage recurring assignments and predictable turnaround times.

• Is open to feedback and continuous improvement.

• Wants to develop a long-term professional relationship.

THE PROCESS

I would like to begin with a small, paid editing test: edit an excerpt from a recent solo video.

For the selected editor, the initial assignment will include editing one complete long-form solo video and two Shorts.

The purpose is to evaluate editing quality, communication, turnaround time, and whether our working styles are compatible.

If the collaboration works well, I expect to have regular assignments involving long-form videos, Shorts, interviews, and educational content.

HOW TO APPLY

Please send:

1. A brief introduction about yourself and your editing experience.

2. Links to 2–3 examples of your long-form YouTube work, preferably business, educational, podcast, or personal-brand content.

3. 2–3 examples of Shorts/Reels you edited.

4. Your preferred editing software.

5. Your typical turnaround time for a 10–20-minute talking-head YouTube video and a 30–60-second Short, and availability per week.

6. Your pricing structure, including rates for long-form videos, short videos, and podcast interviews.

7. Your availability for an ongoing collaboration.

8. Your time zone

Applications without examples of both long-form and short-form work won't be considered.

Please begin your proposal with the words “Long-Term Editor” so I know you've read the description.

I'm looking for a professional collaborator who can grow with my content production over time.
