  • Work with Senior Managers and Business Users to design effective Business Analytics & Data Visualization Dashboards, assist with Data Analysis, Data Cleansing and Data Transformation
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to guarantee continuous infrastructure availability
  • Suggest and implement standard processes and procedures, continuous improvement, and automation efforts across the enterprise
  • Provide technical leadership advice and industry best practices as first contact to stakeholders and clients pertaining to enterprise infrastructure related requests
  • Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Serve as technical lead/mentor/representative and act as proxy for manager when required
Qualifications required:
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS or equivalent
  • 5-10 years as a Db2 subject matter expert in IT/financial services
  • Deep knowledge of Db2 11.5 (and later) Database Administration techniques and strategies in a High Availability HADR environment
  • Database Administration experience in a Db2 environment utilizing high availability / disaster recover features.
  • Extensive knowledge of core infrastructure components such as high availability/federation/replication
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (between NYC and NC)
  • Strong facilitation skills with working committees and steering committees
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Very good knowledge within the Infrastructure ecosystem in execution of implementation initiatives, capacity management efforts, and design of high availability and backup & recover solutions
  • Positive track record of delivering large scale complex projects & initiatives
  • Ability to communicate with highly technical/quantitative as well as non-technical partners
Qualifications desired:
  • Master's degree or education/training/certification in an IT related field
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Db2 Q-Replication or SQL Replication
  • Technical Project and\or Product Management Experience
  • Proficient with Dell/EMC Data Domain and Power Protect Data Manager (PPDM)
  • Database Administration experience in a SQL Server 2019 and above environment utilizing high availability / disaster recover features.
