Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and desserts with precision and creativity.
  • Develop new pastry recipes and improve existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Ensure all baked goods meet high standards of taste, appearance, and consistency through meticulous food handling and food safety practices.
  • Decorate cakes and desserts with skillful cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products.
  • Package finished products carefully for delivery or display, maintaining presentation quality during transportation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to support catering events, special functions, or restaurant service as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts.
  • Skilled in cake decorating, food preparation, and food production techniques.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking methods.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Experience working in a busy kitchen environment within the food industry or restaurant setting.
