Position Overview

Our client, a well-established higher education institution, is seeking an experienced Workday Student Registration Consultant to support ongoing Workday Student initiatives. The consultant will play a key role in optimizing and supporting student registration processes, collaborating with academic and administrative stakeholders to enhance system functionality, improve user experience, and ensure efficient student enrollment operations.

This role is ideal for a Workday Student professional with hands-on experience in Student Registration, Academic Foundation, Course Management, Enrollment, and Student Records within a college or university environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance Workday Student Registration functionality and business processes.
  • Analyze current registration workflows and recommend process improvements aligned with institutional goals.
  • Configure and maintain student registration-related components within Workday Student.
  • Partner with academic departments, registrar''s office personnel, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Troubleshoot registration issues and provide functional support to end users.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of Workday Student enhancements and releases.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
  • Support reporting and data analysis related to student enrollment and registration activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Student Records, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and IT.
  • Provide best-practice recommendations for Workday Student adoption and optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Student in a higher education environment.
  • Strong expertise in Student Registration processes and configuration.
  • Experience supporting:
    • Course Sections
    • Academic Periods
    • Registration Rules
    • Enrollment Processes
    • Student Records
    • Curriculum Management
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday Student solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience conducting system testing, UAT, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous consulting experience supporting higher education institutions.
  • Experience with additional Workday Student modules such as:
    • Academic Foundation
    • Student Records
    • Advising
    • Financial Aid integrations
  • Workday Student implementation or post-production support experience.
  • Experience with Workday reporting and analytics.
